Submitting Records
What information do we want?
A basic record consists of What,Where,When and Who.
- What
The species name including any details of how you identified it and whether you have a specimen, photos etc.. - Where
Ideally this should consist of a coordinate as a UK Grid Reference or GPS log with a location name to help us with validating the record. - When
The date of your observation ideally in DD/MM/YYYY. This should be as accurate as possible so if you recorded over a number of days we can accept a date range - Who
Your name and contact details. Your name is a vital part of a record but we won't release your contact details without your permission.
